Big Bang Return to Rookie Days on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’

Always reminding themselves to stay humble, the Big Bang returned to 2006 during the recent recording of KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook

On June 2, Big Bang participated in the recording of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, where the members told the audience that the happiest time of their careers was before debut and rookie days.

With that said, the members went backstage, only to return dressed as they did when they were still rookies. When MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked what Big Bang was expecting for its future, the members replied, fully in character of their 2006 selves, “We can’t see even a bit of our future, but we hope to get really popular.”

“We’re going to be revealing for the first time this new song called Lies, which will be released in two years in 2008,” added the members, making the audience burst into laughter. “We feel that the song will be a huge hit at college festivals in two years.”

As they prepared to perform, Yoo Hee Yeol said, “I think Big Bang is probably nervous because they are rookies. I’ll play the piano for you.”

Together with Yoo Hee Yeol, Big Bang delivered a piano and rock version of Lies

The episode will air on June 5.
