Taeyang’s 2nd full album’s title track “Eyes, Nose, Lips” topped Melon’s real-time chart on July 4. The song released on June 3 is showing an astonishing dominance by topping charts for more than one month.
Winning back the top position on Melon chart proves how powerful Taeyang’s 2nd solo album is. It reminds us of the TV commercial of a certain brand’s battery where the character counts up to hundreds doing push ups. That’s how strong he is.
In the music world where things change quickly, a song released one month ago winning back #1 position is quite rare. Many songs lasts on #1 for hours, not even a day, so Taeyang’s long run is certainly notable.
