Taeyang tops Gaon chart for 5 consecutive weeks with “Eyes, Nose, Lips”

TAEYANG is boasting long-lasting popularity by topping Gaon’s streaming weekly chart for 5 consecutive weeks with “EYES, NOSE, LIPS.”

Gaon Chart on July 17 showed TAEYANG’s accomplishment in the 29th week of 2014 (July 6 to 12). Since topping the 25thweek’s chart from June 8 to 14, TAEYANG has been maintaining the top position. His achievement of seizing victory for 5 weeks in a row is the second best in all Gaon Chart history.

“EYES, NOSE, LIPS” has also topped the karaoke weekly chart, following last week. It proves that the song is the most sang track among the fans.

Apart from Gaon Chart, he also topped Melon’s weekly chart for 5 weeks in a row. On other charts like Olleh Music, Genie, Daum, Naver and Cyworld, he topped the June monthly charts.

He also received a whopping 8 trophies on different music programs like Mnet’s M Countdown, SBS’s Inkigayo (for 3 consecutive weeks), MBC’s Show! Music Core and KBS 2TV’s Music Bank.

He is scheduled to showcase a collabo of “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” with TABLO on SBS’s Inkigayo on July 20. He is also gearing up for a solo debut and a tour in Japan in August.
