The music video for BIGBANG Taeyang’s new song “Ringa Linga” has hit a million views, less than a day after its release.
The “Ringa Linga” music video recorded 1023924 hits within 13 hours of being released on BIGBANG’s official YouTube channel (as of November 10, 10:00 AM KST). The number of views has been steadily rising, after the video was released on November 9 at 9:00 PM.
The MV opens with the backdrop of the setting sun, and in the music video, Taeyang displays his overflowing charisma and smooth dance moves. Whether performing solo or as a group with his dancers, Taeyang shows powerful and dynamic moves in his choreography to express the R&B style of the song.
BIGBANG’s leader and close friend of 13 years, G-Dragon, as well as new boy group WINNER, make a surprise appearance in the music video.
According to an agency representative, “The music video was supposed to be released on November 9 at midnight (0:00 AM), but there was additional work done in order to show a more complete video, so the release was pushed to 9:00 PM on the same day.”
