[OSEN=이혜린 기자] YG Entertainment showed full confidence for its artist BIGBANG’s TAEYANG, who is scheduled to release his new song ‘Ringa Linga’ any time soon—a completely different style to the previous ones.
The new song will reveal a whole new side of TAEYANG, especially in the choreography. On the comeback ‘timer’ image revealed in the evening of Nov 7, TAEYANG’s face is covered with a black cap, while there are 4 dancers standing behind him. A small taste to what the performance would be like.
In order to make the choreography stand out even more, YG Entertainment even switched the order of promotion activities. Normally, music videos are unveiled before the entire choreography is showcased, but TAEYANG will be revealing the dance part of his performance at midnight of Nov 7, and the music video of ‘Ringa Linga’ will be revealed at midnight the next day, Nov 8.
YG Entertainment’s personnel hinted, “This is a plan strategized based on the confidence we have for the performance,” and added, “Until now TAEYANG’s choreography was shaped by a story, but this time something completely and absolutely new will be disclosed to the public.”
Many are highly excited to see what TAEYANG, who has normally worked on R&B songs, will show with a strong hip-hop influenced ‘Ringa Linga.’ The song is a collaborated work of G-DRAGON and foreign composers.
YG Entertainment stated, “The top-notch dancers in the United States joined TAEYANG for filming.”
TAEYANG will kick off his song promotion starting from Nov 10 on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo.’
