Big Bang's Still Alive leads the charts in physical album sales
Big Bang has proven themselves to be the strongest contender on the charts, setting them at a pedestal high above the rest of their peers.
According to album sales analyst site Hanteo, Big Bang’s special album, ‘Still Alive‘, recorded 15,000 units in sales the first day of its release, putting it at a 13,000 unit difference with the team in second place.
As of June 6th, Big Bang recorded 7,300 units in sales on the live chart, putting them 7,000 units ahead of second place. With the market the way it is today, passing 10,000 units is exceptional in itself, especially since artists in the top spots are always changing day by day.
Big Bang is also proving strong on the digital charts, achieving ‘all kills’ just moments into its release. Currently, “Monster” has achieved over six million views and is still rapidly on the rise.
Although the album was made as a response to the support and love their fans have been sending them, the boys can’t promote it due to their commitments to their Japanese tour.
