Publishing company settled the lawsuit with Big Bang by paying 420 million wons

Big Bang won the lawsuit of the unauthorized use of their photos in a Japanese magazine. They have settled a lawsuit with the Japanese publishing company today.

On 20th of November, last year, Sankei Sports reported that Okra Publishing Company had to compensate 30000000 yens (about 420000000 wons) for the unauthorized use of Big Bang's photos. The case was settled at Tokyo District Court today.

Oska once published a magazine called  ‘the latest Hallyu Star Special- Big Bang’ but the photos that they used had not been authorized by YGE before.

The lawyer of Big Bang said, ‘ the publishing company has admitted that they had used the photos without prior authorization. Moreover, the revenue that the magazine gained has been offset by the compensation that it has to pay.’

A staff of Okra said, ‘ we have not explicitly said that we have reached a compromise.’

YES, WE ARE ALL TOTALLY CRAZY TO HAVE AND TO USE BIG BANG PICS^^ BUT SUCH GREAT ORGANISATIONS HAVE TO ASK BEFOR THEY USE THEIR PICS!! OTHERWISE THINGS LIKE THIS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN ;)

TAEYANG always VIP*.*
