Following news of G-Dragon preparing for a solo comeback, many reports claimed that fellow BIG BANG member Taeyang would also be releasing a solo album in 2017, right after G-Dragon.
According to one news outlet, Taeyang has been consistently composing music in preparation for his album, and is also planning to hold a solo concert.
A source from YG Entertainment stated, “A definite schedule has not yet been determined. He’s currently preparing with the goal of making a comeback sometime in the first half of the year.”
Meanwhile, Daesung will be holding solo concerts in Japan in April, while Seungri has many activities planned as well, including more promotions in China.
While it may be a while until BIG BANG is complete again, due to T.O.P’s impending enlistment, there’s definitely lots to look forward to in 2017!
