2. Performing Big Bang songs
For many fans in the audience, this event was the closest chance they had to seeing Big Bang live in concert. Showing gratitude to the VIP fans waving the crown-style glow sticks, Taeyang performed a solo rendition of Big Bang’s “Bad Boy” and “Fantastic Baby.”
3. His unreleased track, 1AM
The lucky crowd was first to hear Taeyang perform his unreleased track “1AM.” The pop/R&B song tells the story of a boy who is trying to move on after breakup, but he can’t stop thinking about his past love late at night.
Taeyang hinted that “1AM” might be his next promotional track, but the decision was up to YG Entertainment CEO, Yang Hyun Suk. He playfully encouraged fans to tell the CEO whether they liked the song to sway YG’s decision, and to support his second solo album when it drops.
4. Fan service and interaction
Taeyang did not sell short on the fan service. He frequently asked fans which songs they wanted him to sing next during the encore, and even let a fan sing part of his lyrics!

Don’t forget about the fans in the other side of the room!
5. Acoustic/unplugged rendition of “Wedding Dress”
One of the most endearing moments was when Taeyang politely rejected the crowd’s request to sing “Wedding Dress” because they did not have the track prepared. The crowd grew into an uproar, and Taeyang shushed fans down, asking them to pick a song from the night’s set list.
Although Taeyang performed other songs, at the end of the night, the crowd still desperately wanted to hear the hit song. Taeyang finally gave in to the fans’ request.
He swung into a sweet a cappella version of “Wedding Dress,” and the live band joined him, improvising a jam with the artist.
6. He took off his shirt!
Through the hour-long performance, Taeyang’s crisp white tank slowly became drenched in sweat from the extensive choreography. To top off the show, he stripped off his wet tank and tossed it into the unsuspecting crowd!
