(Hong Kong December 15) Taeyang the member of the Korean band “Big Bang” arrived happily as a special guest to the opening ceremony of a shopping mall.
He greeted his fans with a smile and said in English, “I’m happy to see you. I love you.” When asked about his falling off from the stage earlier at an award ceremony in Beijing, Taeyang said smilingly, “I was scared and felt embarrassed. But the stage was really too slippery.”
He had enjoyed success with his solo venture this year. When asked if the other bandmates had congratulated him, Taeyang said they all had texted him. When asked if he’d invite any special guest to his concert in January in Hong Kong, he said, “It’s a secret.” He did not reveal when the band would reunite again but said he looked forward to the five of them getting together again.
After the opening ceremony, he hurried to the autograph-signing event in Causeway Bay. He sang a little Christmas carol and shook hands with about 100 fans there. Taeyang had spent four years in preparing a new album and hoped his fans would like it.
