Big Bang’s Taeyang is returning to KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.
On June 24, a broadcast affiliate told Newsen, “Taeyang will participate in the filming of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook at the KBS hall in Yeouido on this day. He will be showcasing several solo performances for the audience.”

It has been about seven months since Taeyang last stood on the stage for Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. His last appearance was in November of 2013, when he performed I Need a Girl and Ringa Linga.
Taeyang recently released his second official album Rise on June 2, with the title song Eyes, Nose, Lipsstill reigning high on the music charts in Korea.
He is also sweeping number ones on several music programs as receiving trophies on Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN and SBS’ Inkigayo twice in a row, as well as MBC’s Music Core and KBS’ Music Bank, totaling to six number one trophies.
Meanwhile, Taeyang will hold a private hug event on June 26 with fans. He will continue promotions before holding his first solo Japanese tour in August.
