The new global ad for CK One, launched to celebrate the perfume′s 20th anniversary, was released on July 1.
It features singer/songwriter Dev Hynes, singer Samantha Urbani, Sya Lou Lou, electric pop singer Kelela, electronic artist and producer Evian Christ, singer/actress Soko, artist Ally Marzella, fashion photographer Micahel Bailey Gates, photographer and fashion designer Petra Collin, model Edie Campbell and other top figures of the world.
The CK One ad campaign especially took great care to involve musicians in its project as its ads have always been centered on music, and this was what led it to extend an offer to Taeyang.
Taeyang is the only K-Pop star to appear in the ad.

The televised commercials will have the muses find ways to express themselves through digital means, while the printed ads are a collage of self portraits in an effort to emphasize each muses′ ego.
It was shot in New York by Mario Sorrenti, the figure behind the famed Calvin Klein Obsession commercial featuring Kate Moss, under the supervision of Calvin Klein′s creative agency Monther New York.
Calvin Klein′s CEO Steve Schiffman said the new campaign suggests a new chapter to the CK One franchise, and also said the new campaign celebrates the history of the original campaign while at the same time incorporating the individuality of today′s younger generation.
Taeyang also promoted his own ad through his social network account, tweeting on July 1, ′Check me out in the new ck one campaign.′
Most recently, Taeyang swept through the K-Pop scene with his single Eyes, Nose, Lips, even ranking in at no. 112 on the Billboard 200 chart.
