Today we’re delighted to report that BIG BANG’s latest Japan release “Alive” is certified gold in April by RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan. This means the record has already passed 100,000 units sold just well before their Alive Tour really kicks start next week and it’s their first time to hit this spot.Good news indeed.
ALIVE was released in Japan on March 28. Now it’s doing very well on Oricon and Billboard Japan Album charts and gaining more and more good press. We’re sure that they will keep a steady selling pace here.
RIAJ is the association that monitors and keeps track of music retailing in Japan.
