Last month, Big Bang surprised fans with their short teaser hinting for a new Japanese mini album
amidst in preparation for their long-awaited Korean comeback.
On February 3rd, YGEX, YG Entertainment’s Japanese counterpart, finally announced the big release which is scheduled for March 28th. The agency revealed that Big Bang's mini album will be titled "Alive" and will contain a total of nine tracks, two more than the version to be released in Korea.
G-Dragon participated in the writing and composition for this album, and is expected to show off his musical capabilities once more. A DVD and photo book will be released at the same time as the album, to give fans a glimpse of what the members of Big Bang are usually up to outside of the stage.
